NNA - A statement issued Sunday by Head of Future Bloc, Foad Siniora, felicitated the recently freed abductees of Aazaz and their families, wishing them a happy return home, while sternly censuring kidnapping operations as they did not help the rightful cause of the Syrian rebels.
The liberation took a long time to accomplish, according to the statement, which went on to thank everyone who endeavoured for their release.
"We do not know who was behind the kidnapping or its objective, but what is confirmed is that it harmed the relation between the two brotherly nations, and did no serve the cause of the injured and oppressed Syrian people."
The statement added that if anything the kidnapping benefited the Syrian regime.
