NNA - Caretaking Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, commissioned Saturday Caretaking Interior and Municipalities Minister, Marwan Charbel, to represent him in welcoming the released Lebanese hostages upon their arrival at Beirut International Airport.


Mikati reiterated his joy at the happy ending to said humanitarian dossier, which has been a source of pain and dismay to all Lebanese; especially the families of the 9 Lebanese who were held captives.


Mikati thanked, once again, all concerned sides and brethren counties who were involved in ensuring the release of said hostages. He also praised the extensive follow-up on the case by Caretaking Interior Minister till its final pleasant ending.


Mikati also contacted House Speaker Nabih Berri on the occasion, congratulating him on the release of the 9 Lebanese hostages.
