NNA - MP Hussein Moussawi somberly reproached March 14 Camp for seeking to turn the Islamic Republic of Iran into an enemy of Lebanon rather than focusing effort on the real foe, Israel. He inculpated the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) of endeavoring to harm Lebanon by falsely indicting a certain Lebanese team.


Speaking during a school event in Bekaa, the head of Baalbek/Hermel Parliamentarian Bloc warned against the American-Zionist project and those who support it domestically, whether consciously or unconsciously.


"All that March 14 sees is the arms of the resistance," stated Moussawi, adding that said camp held a grudge against men of the resistance.


Such a stance did not serve Lebanon, for without a resistance there would be no Lebanon, according to the MP.


"We do not start a war, we defend all the Lebanese."


Moussawi forewarned against the menace of Israel, urging the other team to go back to its senses and meet over a dialogue table.


"We have no interest in chaos, our interest lies in forming a comprehensive and strong cabinet."


The MP compared March 14 Camp with an insensible friend, quoting the old Arabic saying, "It is better to have an intelligent enemy than an ignorant friend."
