NNA - The head of General Security, General Abbas Ibrahim, made the necessary contacts from Turkey to put the finishing touches on the issue of Lebanese released yesterday in Syria, NNA correspondent said.
General Ibrahim followed the logistical measures to be taken to receive nine pilgrims abducted on 22 May 2012 in Azaz, north of Aleppo.
The date of their return to Lebanon is thus to be determined.
Our correspondent said that the Lebanese, accompanied by General Ibrahim and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, will return to Beirut on a private Qatari plane.
Our source emphasized that the all-round contacts continue to bring about the release of two bishops, Yuhanna Ibrahim Boulos Yazigi , abducted April 22, 2013 , also near Aleppo .
