NNA - Ahead of the Cabinet session, President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun met with Minister of Labor Dr. Mohammad Haidar, who briefed him on recent developments within the ministry. These included preparations to raise the minimum wage, ongoing digitization efforts, and a comprehensive study on the labor market conditions for both Lebanese and foreign workers.

President Aoun also held talks with Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjjar, who updated him on the ministry’s preparations for the upcoming municipal and mukhtar elections, set to begin on May 4 in Mount Lebanon Governorate.
