NNA - Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi, on Wednesday welcomed Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, at the patriarchal headquarters in Bkerki.

Ambassador Bukhari offered Patriarch Rahi Eid well- wishes.

During the meeting, the pair reportedly discussed the latest developments at the local and regional levels, especially the visit of the Saudi envoy, Prince Yazid bin Farhan, in charge of the Lebanese dossier, to Lebanon to meet with Lebanese officials., .

Ambassador Bukhari  affirmed Saudi Arabia's continued support for Lebanon to preserve its historic role.
