NNA - Minister of National Defense, Major General Michel Menassa, on Tuesday received in his office in Yarzeh, French Senator Stéphane Ravier, member of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces Committee in the French Senate.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop cooperation between Lebanon and France, particularly with regard to supporting the Lebanese Army in the areas of training and logistical equipment.  

Minister Menassa later received respectively MP Simon Abi Ramia, MP Charbel Massad, former Minister Talal Merhebi, former Minister Hector Hajjar, and former MP Hadi Hobeish.

Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation and challenges facing the country at the security and daily living levels.
