NNA – President of the Republic, Genera Joseph Aoun, departed Rafic Hariri International Airport at 2:00 pm today, heading to Doha, on an official visit to Qatar at the invitation of Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.  

President Aoun is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raji, and the Lebanese Ambassador to Qatar, Farah Berri, will join the official delegation in Doha.

President Aoun’s two day visit includes a bilateral meeting between President Aoun and the Emir of Qatar, as well as expanded talks involving both the Qatari and Lebanese sides.
