NNA - President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, contacted this afternoon the family of the late journalist, Hoda Chedid, offering his condolences to her father, brothers, and sisters on her passing.

Aoun expressed his deep sorrow at Chedid's loss, saying, "With the passing of Hoda, we miss a journalist who was distinguished by her professionalism and objectivity in the visual, print, and audio media. We also miss Hoda, the kind, strong-willed person who stubbornly resisted the malignant disease that defeated her, despite her determination to overcome it."

"May God have mercy on Hoda's soul...We will always remember her, and she will be present with us in thought, mind, and heart," the President added.
