NNA - Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, on Wednesday welcomed Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. 

The Qatari diplomat extended his congratulations on Rasamny’s ministerial appointment and reaffirmed Qatar’s continued support for Lebanon.  

Discussions reportedly focused on bilateral relations and potential areas of cooperation within the ministry’s scope. 

In turn, Rasamny expressed gratitude for Qatar’s ongoing assistance to Lebanon.  

Earlier, the Minister met with MP Ziad Hawat, with whom he discussed development projects concerning the city of Jbeil and its district, particularly those under the ministry’s jurisdiction.
