NNA - President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday departed Cairo at 9:00 am, accompanied by Foreign Minister, Youssef Raji, and an official delegation, concluding his participation in the extraordinary Arab Summit, Palestine Summit.

Lebanon’s Ambassador to Egypt, Ali Halabi, bid farewell to the president at the airport.  

Before leaving, President Aoun sent a letter of gratitude to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, expressing appreciation for the hospitality extended to him and the Lebanese delegation. Moreover, President Aoun praised Egypt’s pivotal role in shaping and advancing the summit’s resolutions, emphasizing the need for follow-up and implementation. Aoun also expressed hope for a future visit by President El-Sisi to Lebanon, wishing him good health and continued progress for the Egyptian people.
