NNA - Interior Minister, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, on Monday chaired a high-level security meeting at his office, attended by Internal Security Forces (ISF) Director General Major General Imad Othman, Acting Commander of Beirut Police Brigadier General Ahmad Abla, and other senior officers. 

Discussions reportedly focused on the security situation, particularly in Beirut and Tripoli.  

During the meeting, officials underscored the necessity of strengthening security measures to curb recurring incidents and disturbances, ensuring public safety. Emphasis was placed on enhancing coordination among various security agencies to achieve these objectives.  

Furthermore, the meeting highlighted the importance of reinforcing traffic regulations, particularly in Beirut, to facilitate smoother traffic flow, prevent congestion, and uphold public safety.
