NNA - Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, on Saturday conducted an inspection tour at Rafic Hariri International Airport, accompanied by Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjar, and Minister of Finance, Yassine Jaber. 

The visit focused on enhancing airport security and passenger safety, as well as plans for facility upgrades and technical improvements. 

The ministers held an extensive meeting with Brigadier General Fadi Kfoury, Head of Airport Security, Fadi Al-Hassan, Director General of Civil Aviation, and several security and administrative officials. Discussions revolved around improving services and upgrading inspection systems to ensure the highest safety standards. 

The tour also included various airport sections, such as passenger entry and exit points and the cargo department, with the aim of formulating a comprehensive action plan to be implemented by the relevant ministries within their respective mandates.
