NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Monday received at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh, Justice Minister Adel Nassar, who came on an acquaintance visit.

The visit was an occasion to discuss the general situation, political developments and legislative affairs.

Speaker Berri also received Minister of State for Administrative Development, Dr. Fadi Makki, with whom he broached the general situation.

This afternoon, Speaker Berri met with former Minister Wadih El Khazen, who said on emerging that  he exchanged views with Speaker Berri on political, security and economic developments, as well as ways to enhance internal stability in light of the challenges facing the country.

El-Khazen also expressed deep appreciation for the role of Speaker Berri in consolidating national unity and working relentlessly to achieve consensus among the various Lebanese parties.

 On the other hand, Berri received a congratulatory cable on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan from Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
