NNA - Minister of Youth and Sports Nora Bayrakdarian received in her office the Indian Ambassador Muhammad Noor Rahman Sheikh, who congratulated her and wished her success in her new duties.

The pair discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries, and the possibility of benefiting from Indian expertise in the field of mechanization in the projects that the ministry intends to implement and announce soon.

Minister Bayrakdarian briefed the ambassador on the status of Lebanese sports facilities that were completely or partially destroyed by the Israeli aggression, and the possibility of the Republic of India standing by Lebanon in rehabilitating and restoring some of them.

The ambassador promised to fulfill this request immediately upon completion of the study that is being prepared in coordination between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Council of the South to set the executive framework and proceed with it.
