NNA – The media office of Interior and Municipalities Minister, Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Hajjar, on Wednesday issued a statement denying reports of a technical delay in municipal and mayoral elections.

“A news website, citing an official administrative source, claimed that Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar intends to issue a decision postponing the elections for three to four months. The minister’s media office confirms that no such statement has been made. Minister Al-Hajjar remains committed to holding constitutional elections on schedule,” the statement read.
