NNA - The Cabinet session started a while ago at Baabda Palace under the chairmanship of President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, at the invitation and in the presence of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and the ministers.

The Council of Ministers will discuss the draft of the new government’s ministerial statement as prepared by the ministerial committee, to approve it in its final form.

Prior to the Cabinet session, a meeting was held between the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, during which they discussed the latest developments and the general conditions.
