NNA – Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday chaired at the Grand Serail the first meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with drafting the ministerial statement.

The committee includes Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Metri, Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh, Public Works and Transportation Minister Fayez Rasamny, and Industry Minister Joe Issa Khoury.

The meeting was also attended by the Director General of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Antoine Choucair, and the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makieh.

During the meeting, discussions touched on the draft ministerial statement. The committee will hold its second meeting at 5:00 pm upcoming Thursday, February 13.
