NNA - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raji, on Tuesday affirmed that Lebanon’s foreign policy will be founded on principles of independence and sovereignty, ensuring the nation’s best interests.
Raji emphasized that the ministry was committed to restoring Lebanon’s natural role on both the Arab and international stages.
In an interview with “Al-Qahira News” in Beirut, Raji stressed that Lebanon’s upcoming foreign policy would be characterized by resistance to external influences, reaffirming that the country’s national interest will remain the absolute priority in diplomatic decisions.
Regarding Lebanon’s ties with Arab nations, Raji underscored that strengthening these relationships is a cornerstone of the country’s foreign policy. Moreover, the Foreign Minister highlighted Lebanon’s efforts to reintegrate into its Arab surroundings and reclaim its regional standing.
Raji also praised the deep historical ties between Lebanon and Egypt, affirming that these relations have always been and will continue to be strong and stable.
