NNA - Prime Minister Najib Mikati met at his residence this evening with Special Envoy of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf, in the presence of his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the Algerian Minister conveyed a message from President Tebboune to outgoing PM Mikati expressing appreciation for the efforts he exerted to strengthen relations between both countries.

In turn, PM Mikati renewed his wishes to Algeria for continuous prosperity and success, praising its ongoing support for Lebanon in all fields.

He said: "We appreciate President Tebboune's many initiatives for Lebanon during my tenure as prime minister, especially in terms of aid to Lebanon during the Israeli aggression period and diplomatic support in the UN Security Council."
