NNA - President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, discussed today the situation of Middle East Airlines (MEA) with its Chairman and Director General, Mohammad Al-Hout, who congratulated him on his election as President of the Republic.

Aoun commended the distinguished role played by Middle East Airlines during the period of the recent Israeli aggression on Lebanon, as it kept Lebanon connected with the countries of the world and enabled the Lebanese to travel to and from their homeland, appreciating Al-Hout's efforts in managing the company under various circumstances.
