NNA – President Joseph Aoun met Wednesday at Baabda Palace with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Herve Magro, and Deputy Head of the ceasefire oversight committee, General Guilaume Ponchin.

During the meeting, President Aoun called Magro for France’s support of Lebanon’s position regarding the full withdrawal of the Israeli troops from the Lebanese lands they occupied in the last war. He also demanded France to pressure Israel to halt its violations of the November 27 agreement.
