NNA  -  House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Tuesday welcomed at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh, Slovenia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of Slovenia's Ambassador to Lebanon, Gorazd Renčelj, and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Lebanon, Raymond el-Hashem.

The meeting also took place in the presence of Speaker Berri's Media Advisor, Ali Hamdan.

Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, political and field developments, as well as the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Slovenia.

Separately, Speaker Berri received the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Lebanon, Simone Aeschlimann, who paid him a farewell visit upon the end of her mission in Lebanon, accompanied by the new Delegation Head  Agnes Dhur.

The visit was a chance to present the tasks and work programmes of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Lebanon.
