NNA - Caretaker Minister of Industry, MP George Boujikian, represented President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and House Speaker, Nabih Berri, at a celebration held by Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Muhammad Noor Rahman Sheikh, in honor of India's National Day. 

The event took place at the Le Royal Hotel in Dbayeh on Monday evening.

During his speech, Boujikian highlighted the strong and solid relations between Lebanon and India in the realms of politics, economics, and trade, particularly emphasizing the ties between the Lebanese and Indian peoples. 

Boujikian also extended his congratulations to India on its National Day, wishing the country continued growth, prosperity, and a further strengthening of ties with Lebanon.
