NNA - Israeli occupation forces opened fire on the RT team in the town of Maroun al-Ras, south of Lebanon, today, wounding broadcast engineer Hussein Khalil, while correspondent Hussein Ayyad survived, according to Russia Today.

Members of the RT family in Moscow wished "safety to colleagues Ayyad and Khalil while they were carrying out their journalistic duties in southern Lebanon."
