NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Thursday met with head of the Ceasefire Monitoring Committee, U.S. General Jasper Jeffers, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. 

The meeting was attended by U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson and Media Advisor, Ali Hamdan.  

Discussions reportedly focused on developments surrounding the Israeli withdrawal from remaining occupied territories in southern Lebanon, as well as Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement and UN Resolution 1701.
