NNA - President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday received at Baabda palace, Lebanese tennis player, Hadi Habib, accompanied  by Lebanese Tennis Federation head, Alain Sayegh, and Hadi's father, Fadi Habib.

The delegation thanked President Aoun for congratulating player Habib in a phone call on his four victories in the Australian Open (3 victories in the preliminary rounds and a win in the first round of the final program of the tournament), which enabled him advance in the world rankings and reach the 160th position.

The delegation also briefed the President of the Republic on the atmosphere of Lebanon’s tennis sector and its development.

In turn, President Aoun renewed his congratulations to player Habib, and wished the Lebanese Tennis Federation success in its career.
