NNA - Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam received this afternoon at his Koraytem residence, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, in the presence of Norwegian Ambassador Hilde Haraldstad and the accompanying delegation.

Discussions touched on regional and international developments.

The Norwegian minister congratulated PM Salam on his appointment to form the government, wishing him success. He also expressed his country's readiness "to continue supporting Lebanon in the next phase to face current challenges."
