NNA – House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday met with European Union Ambassador to Lebanon, Sandra De Waele, at Ain al-Tineh. 

Separately, and in a statement to LBCI, Speaker Berri clarified that the scheduled call with French President Emmanuel Macron “did not take place.” 

When asked if boycotting the consultations session was meant as a message to foreign parties, he responded: "Lebanon needs to move forward."
