NNA - President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday welcomed the Acting Director General of Lebanon’s General Security, Major General Elias Baisari, at the Baabda Presidential Palace. 

Major General Baisari extended his congratulations to President Aoun on his recent election as Lebanon’s new head of state. 

The Lebanese President also welcomed the Director General of Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, who extended his congratulations to the president on his election.

President Aoun later welcomed President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Sohail Abboud, who extended his congratulations on Aoun's election to the presidency.
