NNA – The "Democratic Gathering" bloc has named   Nawaf Salam for premiership during the binding parliamentary consultations to designate a new prime minister at Baabda Palace on Monday.

Speaking on behalf of the bloc, MP Taymour Jumblatt wished Salam success in forming the new government.

The bloc comprises MPs: Taymour Jumblatt, Marwan Hamadeh, Raji Al-Saad, Akram Shehayeb, Bilal Abdullah, Hadi Abu Al-Hessen, Wael Abou Faour, and Faisal Al-Sayegh.
