NNA - Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Monday received Amira Sukkar, president of the Union for Juvenile Protection in Lebanon, along with Vice President, Jano Haddad, and board member, Jihad Abu Fakhr.  

Sukkar thanked Minister Makary for swiftly addressing concerns over a controversial program aired on Al Jadeed. She emphasized the need for media to support children through educational and cultural programs while respecting their privacy. Sukkar called on journalists to prioritize child protection over sensationalism, stating, “Children are Lebanon’s future, and we must ensure their safety and well-being in all media content.”
