NNA - Caretaker Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib said, after the Riyadh ministerial meeting on Syria, that Lebanon and Syria are in need of a joint Arab plan, a "Marshall Plan" for their recovery, which also includes carrying out comprehensive structural reforms that lead to their integration within their surroundings.

Bou Habib considered the Riyadh meeting on Syria as "one of the best and most successful meetings" in which he has participated, in terms of preparation, outcome, and the consensus and harmony achieved regarding priorities and goals.

On another note, Minister Bou Habib met in the Saudi capital with Deputy Foreign Minister Walid Al-Khuraiji, with whom he discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
