NNA - In keeping with the new phase in Lebanon launched by President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, in his inauguration speech which outlined the rescue headlines that the state needs and the new approach in its management, parliamentary members of the opposition met yesterday evening where they announced in a statement their decision to fortify this path away from the past quotas and corruption.

"After an in-depth discussion about the circumstances of the battle and the necessity of opening a new page concerning the Prime Minister's position, the opposition forces' representatives have decided to support the nomination of MP Fouad Makhzoumi and to endorse him in the binding parliamentary consultations on Monday," the statement said.
