NNA - Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze Community, Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, on Thursday  contacted by phone Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, appreciating his “national role” and wishing him “success in addressing general socio-economic, and national issues.”

Druze Sheikh Akl Abi Al-Muna also contacted by phone former Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, to check on his health following a surgical procedure he underwent in the French capital, Paris.

On the other hand, Sheikh Al-Akl received a phone call from the head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, former MP Talal Arslan, who thanked him “for his role in the recent reconciliation that took place between young men from the towns of Aytat and Aramoun.”
