NNA - Information Minister Walid Daouk received Tuesday at his ministerial office a joint Lebanese-Kurd delegation headed by attorney Antoine Chakhtoura who informed him of the action plan prepared by the delegation to enhance media relations between Lebanon and Kurdistan.
Minister Daouk congratulated the delegation on the proposed initiatives that contribute to the development of relations between communities and promotes for the message of openness to others.
He highlighted the importance of dialogue between peoples to promote human relations at the cultural and media levels.
Daouk finally commended the establishment of the "Kurdish-Lebanese Club for Culture and Dialogue" and expressed his admiration and appreciation for it "in the interest of the Lebanese and Kurdish peoples."
