NNA - President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, awarded the Director-General of General Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, the National Cedar Medal, Senior Officer rank, in appreciation of his contributions for Lebanon in the military, security and political fields, and the role he played in the file of negotiations to demarcate the southern maritime borders.

 Moreover, President Aoun commended the efforts made by Major General Ibrahim in returning the displaced Syrians to their country, and in organizing and developing the General Directorate of General Security to be at the service of citizens and residents in Lebanon or visitors. -- Presidency Press Office
