NNA - “Change” MP Halima Kaakour on Monday said in the wake of the bloc’s meeting with PM-designate, Najib Mikati, “Our position holding PM Mikati responsible was very clear; we’ve called for a mini-government with extraordinary powers, which should distribute the losses in a fair way and carry out rescue missions,” Kaakour said.
"We will not participate in any quota or national unity cabinet,” she added, deeming the demonization of different points of views among Change MPs as unacceptable.
“This difference strengthens us and does not weaken us. We are not a bloc yet, but we are in the process of building a bloc which agrees on the majority of matters,” he added.
