NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Thursday welcomed at the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh the Director General of the Department of Tenders, Jean Ellieh.

Speaker Berri also received Dean of the Beirut Bar Association, Nader Kaspar, accompanied by members of the Bar Association Council, who congratulated Berri on his re-election as House Speaker for a new term.

Discussions during the meeting reportedly touched on the current general situation in the country, in addition to syndical affairs and the preservation of the rights of depositors.

On the other hand, Berri met with Caretaker Minister of Industry, Georges Bouchkian, with whom he broached the latest developments and the current situation of the Country’s industrial sector.
