NNA - Caretaker Interior and Municipalities Minister Bassam Mawlawi's press office clarified in an issued statement this afternoon, that "the amount spent to secure electricity during the parliamentary elections is about $160,000, and not $1.6 million, as it was inadvertently published in one of the articles on the subject."
