NNA - The General Assembly of the Union of Lebanese Basket Ball, endorsed new amendments to its internal statutes during a hearing at Jounieh Central School Auditorium today.



Amendments were agreed upon during a meeting of respective heads of basketball clubs of the first rank at Ghazeer Sports' Club. Amendments materialized in the wake of summons into session by Head of the Lebanese Olympic Commission Jean Humam, who insisted on implementing all amendments as one uniform indivisible package as has been already decided at Ghazeer Club. He thanked all participants for consenting to, and drafting of a new road plan.



He aspired to see wide powers vested in the new Executive Commission without having to refer to the General Assembly in the hope that the draft be sent to basket ball clubs of the First Rank; they would in turn forward the road plan to F.I.F.A in order to lift off the penalty that grounded the Lebanese Union.
