NNA - International Beirut Marathon was launched this morning from BIEL and its finish line will be in the city center of the capital, Martyrs Square.
According to NNA correspondent, more than 36,000 people from 104 countries are participating in the race.
The marathon this year is characterized by the participation of more than 21 athletes, including the Kenyan William Kepsange, who won the Rotterdam Marathon.
Among the female participants, the Ethiopian Azalaitch Masricha, who won the Paris Marathon in 2010, and two other famous athletes.
