NNA - After 58 days, the Lebanese adventurer Maxime Chaaya, 51, and his two partners Livar Nysted, 42, and Stuart Kershaw, 33, crossed the Indian Ocean rowing non-stop.
On this occasion, a ceremony was held at the ATCL in Kaslik, to celebrate the new athletic feat achieved by Chaaya, through individual initiative supported by the private sector.
More than 200 individuals attended the ceremony, including ministers, diplomats and Lebanese and foreign journalists.
Chaaya shared with the audience through photos and video the journey of crossing the Indian Ocean.
British Ambassador Tom Fletcher awarded him the Guinness Book certificate.
