NNA - The Lebanese mountaineer, explorer and adventurer Maxime Chaya returned to Beirut on Wednesday, following his new athletic achievement.
Chaya crossed the Indian Ocean rowing between Australia and Mauritius within 17h in 57 days, instead of 90.
Chaya urged, in a word at the Beirut International Airport, the Lebanese youth to focus their efforts on sports, while avoiding controversial issues such as politics.
An official reception was held for Chaya at the BIA, in presence of caretaker Minister of Youth and Sports' Faisal Karami's representative.
