NNA - Caretaker Sports Minister, Faysal Karami, on Friday sternly regretted the loss of basketball game in Lebanon after a decision from the International Union for Basketball to suspend the membership of Lebanese Basketball and cast away the Lebanese team from international basketball games.
Karami explained that the terrible condition of basketball in Lebanon is due to politics, confessionalism and narrow interests that have eaten up the body of that kind of sports.
