NNA - The Lebanese Army on Thursday said in a statement that an Israeli enemy strike targeted a civilian vehicle near the Al-Awali checkpoint at the northern entrance of Sidon, resulting in the deaths of three civilians inside the vehicle.
The attack also injured three Lebanese Army soldiers stationed at the checkpoint and four members of the Malaysian contingent of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), who were passing through the area with their convoy at the time of the strike.
