NNA - The European Union deployed Friday its assistance mission at the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip, according to "Agence France-Presse" quoting the European Union's foreign policy official, Kaya Kallas.

Kallas wrote on the "X" platform that this civilian mission "will support the Palestinian border staff and will enable the transfer of individuals out of Gaza, including those in need of medical care."
