NNA – Lebanon’s Army Commander, General Rodolph Haykal, on Monday received respectively at his Yarzeh office, Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, UN Deputy Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Resident Coordinator, and Humanitarian Coordinator, Imran Riza, and member of National Defense, Interior and Municipalities Parliamentary Committee, MP Jean Talouzian.

During these meetings, the general situation in Lebanon and the region was discussed.

The army chief also met respectively with head of the Lebanese Economic Bodies, former Minister Mohammed Choucair, Lebanese Press Editors’ Syndicate Dean, Joseph Al-Kosseifi, and the Pastor of the Maronite Diocese of Sidon, Bishop Maroun al-Ammar.

Discussions reportedly touched on various matters.
