NNA - Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Monday received at the Grand Serail, the Apostolic Vicar of Beirut for the Latins, Bishop Cesar Essayan, to whom he who offered Eid well-wishes.
Bishop Essayan also voiced his "support for the government and the tenure."
Premier Salam later received a delegation from the Union of Private Educational Institutions in Lebanon.
On emerging, speaking in the name of the delegation, Father Youssef Nasr said that they discussed with the Premier an array of topics and demands related to the educational sector, in addition to the recovery plan for schools and institutions, especially after the war and the recent aggression.
Salam also received a delegation from the Judges Club, headed by Judge Najat Abu Shakra, who handed the Premier a memorandum bearing on the judges' demands and conditions.
The Prime Minister also met with a delegation from the University of Balamand, headed by the University's President, Dr. Elias Warrak, who said that the delegation has placed the university's capabilities at the disposal of the Prime Minister and the ministries, in a bid to assist in all technical and scientific aspects.
Salam also met with Dutch Ambassador to Lebanon, Frank Mollen, with whom he discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to bolster them.
