NNA - Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, on Thursday received Minister of Defense, Michel Menassa, at Dar Al-Fatwa, where the pair discussed the latest developments in Lebanon, particularly the ongoing Israeli aggression against the South and Beirut’s southern suburbs.  

Mufti Derian also met with Dr. Faisal Sinno, President of the Makassed Islamic Charitable Association in Beirut, who extended Eid al-Fitr greetings. Their meeting included a discussion on public affairs.  

Additionally, Mufti Derian received Lebanon’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Fawzi Kabbara, who briefed him on the situation of the Lebanese community in the Kingdom.
